 quick dumb question. first timer

i am making cakes......once pressure reaches 15 pounds how long should i cook at that pressure? also i got rubbing alcohol and antibacterial soap that i will use on my hands and jars.....but how concerned should i be about contams before pressure cooking? for example do i need to sterlize my mixing bowl for the substrate?

no help guys? the FAQ don't specifically answer these...i guess i should assume it will all be OK in the PC.

From what I understand, you don't need to worry about contams before PCing, as the PC will kill all the bactiria both on the jars and in the substrate. The simple cubensis guide says 45-60 at 15 psi. That what I do.

no need to worry really before pressure cooking... thats the job of your pressure cooker. I cook them from 50min to 1 hour

It will be okay in the PC.
I've heard of other people PCing their BRF cakes for 1 hour, and working 'beautifully'.
