 Licorice/Anise Flavoring

I have tried anise, licorice, french teragon and some varieties of basil that have that distinctive rootbeerish "licorice" flavor. Some people like this flavor and some really hate it.
When I think about that it seems strange because there are people with strong feelings on both sides. So you should tell me what you think of it!

I like black licorice candies so I guess so. In alcohol things with a minty aftertaste are gross though.

i dunno... i just dont like the taste of black licorice.. i never have and never will.
the taste is to weird for a candy.. its like eating candied prunes or sumthin..bleh

i dont eat jelly beans.. but i do have like 100 cherry starburst... i eat all the other flavors then stack up the cherry ones cause they suck

real black licorice (not like american candy, but the taste of fisherman's friend, for example) is fucking great.

In scandanavia they have these salty licorice candies
Fucking Sick
And they take vodka and warm it up then put a bunch of the candies in the bottle and shake and drink
When they did it here half the ppl puked from just 1 shot!!!!
