 Should I throw the cake away (fruiting...)

Did pftek method and aparently one of my jars had minor contams, although I hadn't noticed until I took the cake out for dunking. Was a little bit of green mold near the bottom. Stuck it in water to be dunked and put some h2o2 in. Birthed it last saturday in a milk jug (i.e. seperated from other cakes). The cake is getting fuzzy again, and I don't think the contam is spreading..but should I risk it? I've heard if a mush grows on a partially contaminated cake it's fine - but don't want to do it if there's a 25% I'll die.
btw *if* i keep the cake through fruiting, i'll make tea out of it

Throw it out, are you a pro that can fully ID the contam? I dont think youd be asking this if you where, NEVER< NEVER< NEVER eat shrooms growing next to a contam.

green molds are non-toxic. i had a casing with green fuzzy on it as well, dunked in h202 and killed it off, it never came back. fruited it like 4-5 times and ate the shrooms, not even a hiunt of stomach discomfort and one of the most blissful trip ever. but thats just how the shrooms effect me most of the time anyway

Although green mold might not be toxic, have you ever given any thought to the fact that there may be some very rare green mold that noone has discovered yet that may be toxic? there are new species of fungus discovered everyday. Not only that, but many people have reported stomache cramping and nausea from eating shrooms off of a green molded substrate
First you eat some green mold, then you get more confident next thing you know your trying some shrooms growing next to black stuff or red stuff, its a bad habbit to get into
Its one cake, its not that valuble and not worth risking

most people get stomach discomfort from shrooms anyway though, its a minor side effect. it would be silly of whoever to just start eating from contammed casings  ONLY THE GREEN im saying, no other contam.  dont want anyone being their own guinea pig here.

yes i am quite suicidal, i honestly would risk it if it was green. i believe that if it is my time to die, then it will be. if it isnt, then it will not be. if i am wrong, then i am wrong, and i learn.

Ok lets weigh the consequenses with the benefits
consequenses- miss ID of green mold (we dont have a pic here), posible allergic reaction, posibility that there could be a toxic green mold out there, this could start fiend type behavior, this is just to name a few
benefits- you get one trip.... thats it

i suppose so. to each his own. i'll eat them if its just the mean green. id not eat the direct green that id chop off the base if it was even that bad.
