 Possible LC contam...

Ive had this LC in my incubator for a few days now with very strong mycelium growth, however, since 2 or so days ago it's had some tiny black specks floating around in it.
The quart jar I used had previously been used to sterilize thistle seed and had some black crap stuck to the bottom that I tried to get out but there was still some left. The specks are small and few enough that they wouldnt show on any picture (they look like spores in a syringe). I think it may just be black crap from the bottom floating in the LC which should be sterile since it was PC'd.
Just wandering if anyone has had this happen before and if so is it a contam.

My friend the same exact thing is happening to me, the myc stopped growing and now there are tons of black specks in there. My jar was perfectly clean also. : \

Are youse sure its not just spores? the mycelium around the spores that you injected in will be alot more visible then just floating mycelium and can sometimes go a darket colour right around the spore clump.. make up a tiny amount of grain or pf and inject your lc into it ... if after a week you see mycelium and no contam then inject everything you can get your hands on

no def not, i'm seeing other things growing in it, its like a bunch of tiny peices of dust, lint, and black dots got in there, pretty damn sure it's gone.

Mine appears to have more specks in it now...but the mycelium is think inside too...guess i might as well make a jar and see what happens...who knows.

my good friend has something similar in his LC. We were wondering, is it by principal that if it is a contam it will grow and spread?
