ok this is my first attempt with shiitake, so any remarks and suggeston are welcome. i got this strain #75 from Aloha Medicinals its suppose to be a mega producer. i knock up the sawdust blocks with wbs and kept them in a fairly dark shade, however it was cool 80s. now this is what i got..lots of blisters. some blocks are fully colonized and some are at 60%-90% colonized but still got these blister. now what should i do? should i open up the bags now or maybe make holes. so i all how do i get them to fruit? ao is it too early?? thanks

hard to tell without anything for scale but those look like they're trying to fruit to me, if so those popcorn deals will start growing brown caps soon, after which the bag can be opened/removed. I'd drop the temps and wait for caps to form before you take them out of the bags.

well I'm no expert on shiitake, just grown them a couple times from kits , so it's probably best to go with whatever the books say to do.
but yeah, I misted them pretty often.

You'll have bad yields results with only 1 kilo bags. Do at least 2.5 kilo. blocks next time. If you can make 3 kilo. blocks, then you'll have like 1.2 kg. or more mush per block if you can go up to 4 or 5 flushs before being to much contam. Depend where you grow your shiitake, I'd imagine you'll have infections after the second flush because you're not a shiitake experiment grower. Try like I told you on the PM messages, but don't expect good yields and 4 flushs with 1 kg blocks. Poboy gave you a good idea. Read and learn, growing shiitake commercialy indoors is not simple and easy.

Looking good so far..
When my bags are at this stage I cut some slits in the bag to allow air exchange and place them in an environment with more light. Shiitake primordia will form in the bag after 5 days. Then you can cut of the bag and place them in fruiting conditions or make holes at each primordia where they can grow through.
