inoculated with Puerto Rican and Costa Rica **PIC**

Straight PF cake inoculated in 2 spots: One side had PR, one side had CR. Since there were only inoculation sites, its taken very long to colonize, especially at room temperature. Well its finally done, and I think the myceliums have completely merged since they grew very equally. Heres a pic:

Thats all that is left to colonize. This cake was a complete experiment because so many people ask what happens when you innoc with 2 different strains.

Should I case it or just fruit the cake?

From what I have read on the Shroomery, only one will dominate and fruit....though the cubensis starins are so similar......

Had anyone ever actually tried this? Both types of mycelium are very equal in strength right now as they met up right down the middle of the jar.

it wont create a -super heady breed-

i thought about it, shit im probably still gonna go with the cambo+classic cross just to say i did it

think i read somewhere to crossbreed 2 strains, you need to .. well fuck its not like i know how to do it, but its complex chemistry shit, knowing the clamp connections of cells and using rattlesnake venom to break the cells down and shit, way too much for this guy

my guess will be that you will get 2 different strains off of one cake.

Yeah, fruit it as a cake. Half the cake will produce one strain and the other half the other strain..... Comparing strains, LOL.
