 Really, hell DOES exist.

Okay, I was watching this Christian channel for a few minutes last night. I DO beleive in God. For some reason though I always doubt that their was really heaven and hell. Well I wanted to beleive. But, their was something in my mind making me doubt it. It could have been the devil.
Well anyways, this guy had got shot in New York, a bullet straight to his head. He was in a coma for 28 days. During those days he was dead. He mangaged to come back to reality on the 29th day. He said while he was dead that he went straight to darkness. "It was utter darkness, freezing cold..I was all alone in an never ending darkness of pain and suffering. But, after 28 days I heard a voice and it said, ITS NOT YOUR TIME. A hand came down and took him up. He was alive again.
Ever since that happened in 1992 he's been a beleiver of Jesus Christ.
Just felt like telling a story.

Yeah, Hell does exist.
It's called New Jersey.
That is an interesting story though.

being in a coma has a massive effect on your brain and your body. doesnt mean comatose "dreams" are any more real than everones regular dreams.

WHat a coincidence..he dreamed about hell and God bringing him back to life. Then he was alive. PLus, he described it just like the Bible does.

Lol, yes. But, he was in hell for 28 days..not eternity. He said it was full of torture. That is where the flames come in. It doesn't mean flames are everywhere.

I think it is the best selling book. Which means most widely read unless you bought it to through on a book shelf...

I thought only dead people could go to hell. Being in a coma is not the same as being dead.

The bible is just an analogy of life put into words that could be massively produced and widespread. The truth is no one knows what happens when you die and anyone who tells you they do know is lying to you.
Hell is a state of mind, heaven also. If you as a believer of christianity were to go out and break the commandments, murdering, plundering, raping and torturing, you will find yourself in hell on earth. Hell in your mind.
Although it could be possible to break out of the hold that christianity has on your mind, it would take a whole lot of drugs, and internal struggles.
That is my current take on religion.

Well Dante's Inferno described the bottom of Hell (the worst part) as freezing cold. So there is a reference to cold in Hell at some point.
