The end has always been upon us.
People fail to realize that 90% the prophecies that foretell the end of the times in the bible were fullilled when Jesus was born. Ever since Jesus has died everyone has believed that "the end is near".
That being said, nobody knows for certain when the end will be...
However, I personally think that the end really is near.

I was never too obsessed over the apocalypse. The intepretation of revelations that my church has taught us all is that the rapture will occur prior to the tribulations and the apocalypse. Which made sense when they stated the verses behind that interpretation and the reasons behind it. Though I was never good at remembering verses for reference, so I'm afraid I can't restate it.
So, one moment the end has begun, the next moment I'm face to face with Jesus. It's all good, I've no fear in that area.
Curious, yes, worried... no.

well the thing is, christianity is based on the notion that everyone has been "bad" and that not one of us has gone a lifetime without committing some sort of sin. It's human nature to mess up.
That's the whole point of the sacrifice of Christ, nobody was going to be going to heaven... so out of love God had his son accept the punishment for the sins of all men. There was merely one stipulation for the absolvement to apply to you. You had to accept that God is indeed the one and only god, that he is your god. You had to ask him personally to forgive you for the sins you've done, and you had to be sincere. Assuming all these things are true, there is nothing you can do or mess up which could possibly cause you to go to hell.
However, if those are NOT true, then no amount of good behaviour is going to help you. But it's never too late.
