...but if it cames down to suicide...I'd have to say overdose is probably one of the most painless (depending what you decide to 0D on, for instance...is it possible to OD on laxatives? I can't imagine that would be painless...)
I heard after a decapitation, the brain can live on for up to something like 30 seconds? You could show someone their own headless, twitching body...but that would be the most heinous 30 seconds of life EVER...anyone else heard this before?
If it were true it would be one reason why my vote for most hardcore suicide would be Hara Kiri...you'd just have to have a good friend nearby, haha, and any friend who is willing to help you commit Hara Kiri is a true friend.

i noticed that no one have mentioned "starve to death" wouldn't this be a good idea ?
if you are to cowardly to do anything drastic, wouldn't it be ideal to just sit on your sofa and starve for a couple of days ?
or maybe take a bunch of sleeping pills while you sit there ?
would that work ?

If your really trying to commit suicide because the emotional pain of your life or whatever is too much to bear - why does it mater then that the suicide is painless?
I mean, if your life is so shit that you wanna die - what difference does it make, why would you choose something painless over something painful.
Suicide would NOT be a cowards option if there was some law about suicide being ok as long as you do it ancient japanese samurai style!
That shit is hard-core! Anyone that wants to die, and they're willing to go though with a square hole through the body and poetry in blood.. more power to them I say! If more people had their kind of dedication to a cause, there would be a lot less people offing themselves!!

Not really.
A very small amount of people will blackout from sensory overload when they first experience free fall.
The large majority of first time jumpers get varied amounts of sensory overload but are able to control it.

Thats true. But in the very early days there was no second, they did it all by themselves. Eventually i think it was such a horrible thing to witness they decided it was ok to use a second. For a while though it seems like it was pretty insane. People would try and make their deaths as dramatic as possible so they could earn as much honor and respect as possible.

Gun to the head. Barring a freak survival, or idiotic fuckup by not shooting yourself correctly. When a bullet strikes the brain, it will usually either force the skull to split/break/explode open, or violently displace brain matter and it resettles again in the wrong spot. Your brain would be blown out of your head or rearranged far to quickly to feel pain. Some people have survived shots to the head, but that is obviously rare. You're more likely to win the lottery buying just one ticket. Some people will not die instantly due to a small bullet or freak bullet. I'd reccomend using a shotgun 20 guage or higher, loaded with buckshot, as your head will downright explode. Calibers for pistols i wouldn't recommend anything 9mm or smaller (though a .22 will do it almost every time). Use a hydrashock, and a high velocity round. .357 magnum, 10mm, 44mag, 454 Cassull would work just fine. Any rifle will do you in even a .17 hmr. You could just put a grenade in your mouth. If you're desperate enough, keep eating nails, glass, and/or razors until your insides are shredded and you internally bleed to death. That would be a great experience. You could find a killer bee nest and urinate on it. You can try to rape a lion or something. ohhh death sounds like an adventure.
