* I would steal swiftly to the roof and begin sun tanning until the UV radiation gives me cancer.
* I would have a pre-rigged claymore mine chamber in a closet with 360 shrapnal trajectory.
* I would swallow a deadly mixture of coca cola and pop rocks, then duct tape my mouth and nose shut.
* 2 guns + 2 temples = probs not waking up tomorrow.
* Jump from a tall bridge and employ 2 guns + 2 temples theory just before hitting the ground head first.
More to come...
I like what you said about not thinking it is fair to bring an unconsenting being into existence...tis why I'm not planning on having kids.

Although the vocal effect of inhaling helium may be amusing, it can be dangerous if done to excess since helium is a simple asphyxiant, thus it displaces oxygen needed for normal respiration. Death by asphyxiation will result within minutes if pure helium is breathed continuously. In Mammals (with the notable exception of seals) the breathing reflex is triggered by excess of carbon dioxide rather than lack of oxygen, so asphyxiation by helium progresses without the victim experiencing air hunger. Inhaling helium directly from pressurized cylinders is extremely dangerous as the high flow rate can result in barotrauma, fatally rupturing lung tissue.

alright this would not be painless at all but it would be a very extravagent way to go tie a rope around your legs and tie the other end to a bridge over busy highway make it so that when you jump the rope would hold you about 12 feet over the road. get a piece long of piano wire and tie both ends to the over pass as well. then put your head through the loop the piano wire makes and glue your hands upside down to your head with some powerful glue(fingers on the ears and palms on the skull). then when the glue dries...jump, if all goes correctly you will be decapitated and holding your head in your hands(right side up) dangling over a busy highway for all to see!
i know its morbid...but it would be a very extravagent way to go

I'd have to just take a lethal dose of heroin if I was looking for a painless way to go out.
There would probably be little, if any pain involved. one would probably pass out from extreme nods/euphoria before even dying and the last memory would be of feeling good (or sick possibly lol).

I probably wont ever do it either.. I thought about it a lot when I was a teenager and all - but it seems like I grew out of it or something. The thought doesn't even enter my mind anymore. Maybe it is a part of growing up.

When the inventor of Semtex plastic explosive decided it was time to punch in his card, he hired a room in a hotel. There he attached a small slab of his own invention to the side of his head, and in less than 1/1.000 second his head turned into mid-air applesauce, which is at least ten times faster than your responsetime to anything. Bang. All nerves severed and ripped to shreds before he could register the flash or the bang, leaving a headless corpse and a brown-spraypainted wall with skull fragments embedded into it.
That's the only truly painless and failproof method I can think of. People putting a bullet through their head often miss vital brain areas or the brain entirely and end up dying a dragged-out death or disfigured in a wheelchair.
Almost all people who commit suicide really shouldnt, because even if they saw no way out, their situation might just as easily have turned for the better. Life is like that.
And on top of that: many suicides fail, hence the word "suicide attempt", and this can have really ugly consequences.
Don't give up on life.

I know exactly what you mean. If you're low enough to kill yourself, you're low enough to take the most drastic action possible to help yourself. Since death is the ultimate action you can consciously take, why not go crazy and have fun or something instead?
