Sacred Geometry... A Challenge

Consider the following two diagrams:

The one on the left can be drawn with a single stroke of the pen, without lifting it once and without going back over a line. The one on the right cannot. In fact, I know a mathematical theorem that proves beyond any doubt that the one on the right is completely impossible to draw given the above constraint.
Edit: plus all the other constrains I hope are obvious to a reasonable person. Like no writing on edges or folding or soaking ink through the paper.
I challenge anyone who insists that nothing is impossible to draw the diagram on the right using a single stroke of the pen and without going over a line more than once.
If you do, I'll be your groupie for life. If you don't you must concede that some things are impossible.

I admit its logically impossible but it can be done and nothing is really impossible

They are nodal diagrams. The one on the right has four nodes with odd numbers of connections.

WTF? I think I missed something - can you give a reason for thinking that?

yea, the diagrams arent relative so why should you be able to do one like the other?

nothing is really impossible
Back your words. Draw the 'impossible' diagram.

My reason for thinking that is that you cannot sit infront of a piece of paper and draw the diagram as stated, but
you could draw the diagram as stated. Dont you know? Its all illusions

I bet somewhere in this universe there is someone who you could give this equation too,
like a little green man sitting at his desk on Mars, and he would look at the equation inquisitevely and then solve it, no problem, and humbly, using his poop as ink.
I dontknow man. You guuys need to open up more

You cannot logically conceive yourself drawing the diagram as stated,
but if you dropped that logic its already done.

Let's see it then.

"yea, the diagrams arent relative so why should you be able to do one like the other? " i think this is a good point. you could not make the left hand diagram with the lines in the right hand side one.

Draw the square and the first diagonal fold the paper so an ajacent corner touches the pen and draw your second diagonal.

BZZT! You lifted the pen, if only by a small amount.
Stick to the rules.

If I start with a square peice of paper and place it on a square table the same size as the peice of paper and the table folds along the line that connects the midpoint of two opposite sides of the square and as the table folds the two edges come together without varying from the horizonal, I don't think I would have to lift the pen.

Dip, for the record, I said lots of things are impossible within limitations/rules/laws. Like with the challenge, there are limitations/rules like not picking up the pen or retracing.
What happens when you take away the limitations and rules? You can trace it, big deal.

i can do it
its simple, draw a big square, or triangle type thing, so it fits 2 sides of the shape and as you come back around draw the angles and the other lines, ive drawn a more complex one that that one without lifting my pen, if you want a picture pm me im lazy
