It has been done successfully (with the aid of artificial lights,) but the results are never as great as growing in mother nature.

he wasn't asking if artifical lights would work. even so, yeah, outdoors is the way to go. slightly wet, cold sprint, dry summer, basic, disturbed soil, lots of sun and nutrients. easy plant to grow outside. inside, its more trouble than its worth.

no, at least not in a productivity sense. you can START them inside. but they are going to need lots of climbing space and light. you wont get much for seeds from them if grown inside.

you can start them inside......but its kind of pointless and more a hassle than it is worth......
they flowere in the longest days of summer.....so im not sure that all that extra foliage they would attain by starting early would really be all that much help....
you may actually sow the seeds in the fall for the next season....or just start them early spring

I have some sprouts growing in a window sill.I plan on bringing them outside when it gets warmer.Do you think by the time spring comes it will be to late to bring them outside?I also plan on sowing some outside in the early spring, but I couldnt wait and I started some in a pot in my window sill about 2 weeks ago.Can anyone help me out with this?I dont want to grow them completely indoors, just while its cold.
Thanks
