Bump, bump, bump it up.
Would they want amanita muscaria spores? Its the only mushroom I've been able to find and accurately ID..

Yeah I guess why not. Doesn't hurt to help. Psilocybe Subaeruginosa, grow wild here. Don't know about cultivating them though, hey if somebody's keen why not.

My um... dog.... just started growing mushrooms and since the free spore ring is probably one of the coolest things my dog had ever heard of he will make sure to print every crop he has and send it in.

Pepsiguy, if you read the initial post, I mean, if your dog did. You, I mean, the mut would have realized that the request is for wild prints, not already cultured ones.

If the shroomery webmasters could make some type of symbol showing your support status of the rings, like they did with folding@home, then I,like more people, would probably donate. How do they work anyway? Do they just give free handouts to anyone thats too cheap to buy spores? I dont get it....

Yes pretty much, but in your time of need this can be helpfull. Many spore businesses started out through a free spore ring. Any spare spore prints I have I'm sure to send off, as I have recieved free spores off them before.

think Muscaria is obligate mycorhizal and would require inoculation on living tree roots like Truffles, etc. ?
