As we all know the date December 21 2012 is te ed date of the mayan calendar. the beginning of another Great cycle, the egyptians also referenced this date. many believe that this date signifies the "end" of the world, mankind whatever.
furthermore many also believe in the texts of the bible that call for 7 yeras of tribulation before the end. If you were to combine the two ideas you would have the beginning of the end start on December 21st 2005, roughly 4 days from now.
Now for te christian theory to be proven right in conjunction with the end date of the mayan calendar one thing has to happen, from what i understand.
The beginning will come with the revealig of the anti-christ. so wach your news and tv's over the next few day, that is if you believe in this.
i also remember somthing about the beginning of the 7 years starting witha peace accord between isreal and the rest of the middle east??? not to clear on that one.

Do the mayans say anything about a tribulation of 7 years? If not, then I won't be looking for anything in the next few days.

I think it has been established that the "7 year" period of trial and tribulation in Christian prophecy is just a symbolic amount of time. 7 is the number of perfection, the number of God. God created the world in 7 days (well 6), but that doens't mean he ACTUALLY made it in 7 days.

Do some research into Terence McKenna's work with the I-Ching....it's an anchient (thousands of years BC) chineese diviniation system. There are 64 irreducable elements (just like the periodic table) that all represent time.
Under a high dose of psilocybin and DMT in the jungle, Terence was told by the mushroom to work with the I-ching and "graph" the course of novelty. Novelty means "complexity" or "connectedness".
Ultimatley Terence deduced that the King Wen sequence of the I-Ching could be graphed fractally to show the ebb and flow of novelty till the "end of time".
This date was discovered to coincidentaly be 11:11pm GMT Dec 21st, 2012...
Terence had no prior knowledge of the Mayan calendar either.
Terence called this the "timewave"....it even shows past events like the atom bomb being dropped as "high novelty spikes"...
Seriously...2012 somthing BIG will happen. Maybe not the end of the world, but we wont be looking at it the same way!!!

This archaeologist, who spent many years traipsing through Central and South America, was so ignorant as to believe that the Mayans were the inventors of 'mayannaise'.
Terence called this the "timewave"....it even shows past events like the atom bomb being dropped as "high novelty spikes"...
There is even a corresponding spike for Britney's marriage (the real one - not the phoney Vegas one).

The end of the mayan long-count calendar wasn't figured out until many years after Terence's experiences at La Chorrera...so when he chose that date, the mayan calander system was still not decoded.
I dont know about the mayonaise thing, but I've read several of his books, listened to countless hours of his lectures, and even own a lecture on DVD. Hell, im wearing his face on my shirt right now.
