We have been off on a rough start, but lately a peace and own rhythm has come to be in the MR&P forum.
I've been passive as a moderator here for a while to watch it all unfold, and it looks like MR&P is starting to take on its own flavor, or, identity.
When I volunteerd for moderating this forum I chose to do so in a gung-ho manner which has not been without controversy. Part of what I felt this forum needed in its first week was quite some intensive moderating, and I slowly relaxed that until I finally became more of a lurking moderator than the overactive one I started out here.
I feel, long story short, that this particular forum is best served by me stepping down here as a moderator and posting as a member instead. The good of this forum after all is what it all is about.
After posting this thread I will hand in my resignation as a moderator of Mysticism, Religion & the Paranormal to the administrators.
I strongly feel the forum is best served by me resigning, so I will, and I won't flipflop about it. It's been interesting and in my view successful.
My work here is done.

Thank you for doing this. Though I never liked you as a moderator, I always sensed you had a good heart, and this action shows you do in fact care more about the community than about your own self-interest. Kudos.

Either way, if it means you'll post MORE from your mystical trippy side which is always an engaging read, that's a good thing. You have so much of yourself to share with shroomery members in so many forums. You're such an asset to this place just as a posting member alone.
