Hello, from gathering information mainly from this site I have attempted to cultivate cubensis twice with success. In both ocassions the condicions where a bit precarious, being unable to comply with all the hygiene obsessive rules some teks swear by, I know this is to reduce chances of failure but sometimes the measures tend to go a bit too extreme. Well, the most important thing that I have to say is this: when I had my first flush of pins I left the city for 4 days to take a break from all the shit I had, and I didnt have any chance but just leave the FC in my closet, closed and well hidden so there was no way light could have gone through, and they spent the whole 4 days without any fanning. I was constantly worried during my starying at the beach but somehow I knew it would probably be ok. When I arrived both casings where just at the ideal point of harvesting, with an even flush and all. The most amazing fact was that most shrooms where of decent size including some giant freaks and the usual little ones. It was also worth to notice that all the shrooms had grown perfectly vertical, as opposed to when you grow them in light and they end up all twisted and shit if you dont get the FC still all the time.
Well, thats all I had to say, I know it isnt too much and probably it has been discussed before, and its most likely the environmental conditions where better to pull it off, but I always felt that I had to make these facts to be known...
