Okay some I'm checking out on some things that I will need to get for growing. I've read about a humidifier, pressure cooker, and possibly a heater. Will I really need all of these things? Since I am in Iowa its really cold right now, for mushrooms, so the heat may be questionable for me. I don't want to spend extra money for things that i don't really need.

you need all that stuff, check 2nd hand stores (goodwill, sal. army).
you can avoid the heater if you do some Tub-in-Tub chambers. look those up, often called TiT.

By the way, What kind of spore can I get that creates shrooms with Psilocybin instead of Psilocin? From what I've read about Psilocin, it breaks down easier than Psilocybin and when I dry them I would like to have less troubles...

Almost every psychedelic mushroom strain I know about contains both psilocybin and psilocin. It's just varying quantities of each chemical

I'd say this is my last question but life is filled with them. How many syringes will I need to buy? I thought I would just need one. I don't plan on making a lot of these guys, hopefully around an ounce or two dried.

Dude I didnt use any of that stuff besides the heater. I boiled all my jars with enough water to come up half the pot and put a lid on it. Just make sure it boils for a good amount of time. Like an hour.
And if its cold in your house stick a heating pad underneath your terrarium for fruiting. For incubating I would use some kind of inclosed box, coolers work great, and throw a heating pad inside of it. Just make sure you dont heat your jars directly from the bottom. Also, if the heat pad doesnt give you enough heat, invest in like a $15 space heater. Put a 1 inch pre soaked perlite layer in the bottom of your fruiting terrarium and spray until your humidity is where you want it. And lastly good luck fellow shroomer.

When you say you boiled the jars, at what stage in the process did you do this? This is my first time and I'm just trying to get a grip on it.

Yeah I'm going to try the PF tek idea. I've heard that you do need the stuff and you don't. I want it to run smoothly with a success so I'll try it with it all.

Can any one help me with how many syringes I should buy? Will one be enough? I want to try growing the Florida strain for my first one. I've never experienced them either.

1 syringe is enough for 6-10 pf tek jars.

u should probably read so much on this site that you know exactly what you're gonna do, and how you're gonna do it, before you go selecting supplies. the info is here
whether or not you choose to utilize it determines if you'll be successful. think of it as a full blown hobby, not just a quick way to produce a hallucinogen

There is no offense intended, but you need to take your research a bit more seriously if you hope to have any success. Instead of taking bits of advice and piecing them together, you should read at least three full teks, everything available on different substrates and everything on casing. Oh, and everything on sterile procedure. And everything on..Really though you could read every cultivation archive on this site in a matter of days, then research specific questions using the search post function(set default to three years).
