Grow log / Contam

5 jars of Amazonian BRF - four came along nicely, one was too wet and didn't germinate.

Good rhizo growth and no contams on this batch.

I then did 7 jars of Creepers that I won here. I put one of each cake on either side of the growbox.

This is the Creeper. It has a tinge of green on the top but the sides are still ok and that's where it' starting to fruit.

I'm still waiting on the Amazonian to fruit.

Three on the left are fully colonized Creepers, 2 on the right are full Amazon - the creepers look a little grey to the eye but maybe I'm just going blind.

Contamed creeper a day later. Would you still eat those mushies? I'm thinking i should pick them all now and toss the cake.

Picked - going to remove the cake and disinfect the whole tub and just put in my bright white Amazonians. Got about 30g out of that.

Good ones... but if you make a casing or even spawn to bulk substrate (I have used just straw without pasteurization) you will get much better flushes!

About the contam, I don't know if you can eat them or not. But if you make it in tea form it will be possibly safer to consume. To be sure let's wait for the opinion of a more experienced grower.
