"Intelligent Design" is not a scientific theory, it is a religious one. Therefore I have no problem with it being taught in religous education (it terms of presenting it as a belief some people have) but it doesnt belong in the science classroom.

Did you read the rest of my post "Like there is some kind of evolutionary smoking gun out there" You obviously can't see evolution take place because it happens over long periods of time but the ID people use this as evidence to say that evolution does not exist. There is tons of circumstantial evidence to support the theory of evolution, fossil records and DNA. There is absolutely no evidence of ID whatsoever.

But you can see evolution take place at the molecular level (DNA). It is right there undeniably staring in the face of every molecular biologist.
