I went to a patch I know this weekend in Seattle and - after last week's rain - things had gotten HUGE. Biggest cyans I've ever seen and lots of 'em.
Biggest one I found - by actual measurement, was 2.25 inches across the cap. Anybody find 'em this big or bigger?

ive never measured but some of the ones i found today seem like they would measure like four inches if they were flattened out instead of all furly and upturned.they got some fuckin gnarly thick stems too.

In 1978, I collected one specimen of Psilocybe cyanescens which weighed in at over 47 grams fresh. We got 7 people high onthis giant P. cyanescens. Other than that check some of the imatges at my site on P. cyanescens for large ones.

That was my cyanescens which got 7 people off. However here is a pretty big P. cyanescens from last Nove-Dec in Seattle:

if you're reffering to Subaeruginosa, then no. Very similar though.

I'm pretty sure cyanescens don't grow in Australia, most likely a subaeruginosa/australiana/eucalypta.
