My comment wasn't directly aimed at you, even though I responded to you. I just hit reply to first poster, it was towards everyone, yet no one in particular.
I don't want you to like the band, because I don't care if you do or not. I just think it's ridiculous and utterly pointless to make a whole thread asking why a band sucks? When they don't suck, that's just your opinion. No music sucks, no music is bad. There's just music you like, and music you don't like. SOMEBODY likes it, so its all good.
And yes music will always be classified, but you shouldn't so quickly label something emo or screamo or whatever the fuck when you have no idea what you're talking about. MCR is under the Rock/Pop genre.
