You guys have no concept between a single....that's meant to generate sales from the 12 year olds to the older kids....as opposed to the album were the real music lies.
Then again, you guys would rather light a doobie with the grateful shit playing in the background.

You have it backwards. Usually with shit bands like these the single is where the "talent" is presented. The rest of the album is what we call "filler".

Haha. "Lighting up a doobie." And for your information, I have
heard MCR's other material. It might actually be worse than the
singles.
Light up a doobie...Wow...

My Chemical Romance is no way screamo. If you want to know what screamo is, listen to Saetia and that will give you an idea.
My chemical romance indeed sucks bad. I never cold enjoy them and I wouldnt classify them as emo either.
I always say and I will again. If you dig deep, there are a lot of emo/emocore bands that are out there that is quality and stuff you wouldnt call whiney Especially the stuff in the early 90's, before all this emo fashion appeared and mtv spread the disease. Now, %99 of the stuff that comes out under the genre emo sucks.

I think you should use mushrooms as an opportunity to listen to a lot of different music that you read about here on the Shroomery, and try that instead of listening to anything you know. That would be a cool experiment.

Oh, yeah. There are certain bands from every genre I like, but I
am just a natural metal fan I guess. It just has to be your cup of
tea.

Because "popular" does not happen as a result of popularity. Popularity is thrust upon us. The record companies that get the most exposure for these artists are part of large conglomerates -AOL Time Warner anybody? Imagine the power of that machine working together.
They do "research" and invent demographics from which to pull info on what the "Average" person of a certain group would enjoy. That's why we end up with mediocre music like My Chemical Romance. They're appealing to the "angry, sad, disillusioned teen who doesn't feel like they fit in right" which most of us were at some point, no matter what we dressed like or acted like. And then the style of that musical genre which they, in effect, are creating - it gets matched up with all these visual assortments, the "style"...and on and on and on...god I could puke in my mouth.

I'd lump them in a pit with MCR.
The best music usually never hits the biggest stages.

They are one of the few bands I can stand out of the genre, a friend of mine liked them and made me listen to a cd of theirs, it was better than most of the stuff in the genre.

Are you on drugs? Well....stupid question. I know
They were a local new jersey band and dressed the SAME way they did back then as they do now. They just lost some of the make out which definately is a big improvement. Their album was pretty underground until the networks picked up on how they could make money off of it.
As I said before, I could care less about what bands you like or hate, but before you call it easy...you try and fucking get up on the stage for thousands of kids everynight for an hour and singing your guts out.
You cant. Case closed.
