That is the nicest outdoor Ive seen. Fruits grow shorter and squater outdoors by me. Those are beautiful, I CANT WAIT to find out the yield. I think one yearly outdoor might be better than a bunch of indoor all year long.

Well... as fairly new shroomerite myself... the only word I have is.... WOW!!! I haven't seen very many colonize so well outdoors, it usually seems to be a larger area with small splotches of growth. I like the smaller more dense grows. For the water hose, did you just use a regular garden hose with holes drilled in it?

Happy the grow was so inspiring for all! Can't wait till the second flush....and who knows how many will come after that? The soaker hose is perforated with thousands of tiny holes so water slowly seeps out, I use these all the time for gardening. Get 'em at home depot or lowes.

First I must say I am excited to see somebody finally post an awesome OD flush
On the other hand I'm sorry but you definately don't have to live in anywhere like FL to get results like that. I have gotten wall to wall pins, in all kinds of different seasons except for winter. My best OD season is around may and then late september again. I think the problem is most people genuinely don't have the space to do bulk grows outside. I mean mushrooms are some tuff sons of bitches.

Good Job! You got lucky though with the heavey t-storms we've been having everday, considering the previous summers have all been drought like conditions and massive rain fall defecits.

deva, great grow! really inspiring, i think i might start a patch of my own.

but on another note, where i would be starting a patch would be in the woods too far away to check daily, and would be inconvenient to check weekly. it is very dry in texas, and i was wondering, would putting a tarp over the patch to keep moisture in during the rest of the dry season be detrimental?
would a bunch of hay or poo be better?

WDS- sounds like the odds are against you for good conditions. The outdoor beds do best when they are evenly moist i.e. soaker hose or a fine water nozzle. Watering with a bucket isnt gonna cut it. I would stick to indoors for now.
