MREs (meal ready to eats') came in a big brown box that said in nice large black font "GAYLORD!" like a Nike logo.
everywhere you went in the military those "GAYLORD!" boxes woudl always be there, mocking you.
i thought this was fucking HIL-ar-IOUs.

i went to south carolina, maryland and ... the highlight of my tour... texas.
i didnt like the army. in fact i dont know what the fucki was thinking joining. WORST fucking thing ive ever done in my life.
it is like a cult. they brainwash you. make you memorise things. propaganda. filth.
they retired me after two years.
i went a bit insane.

Are the other ones any better?
If I ever joined, I think I would join the Navy, as that sounds like the most sanity-retaining portion of the military. At least you'd probably see more then.

they're really expensive if you buy them. my sister's boyfriend was in infantry in the marines and he would bring home boxes for free. they're pretty good when you don't feel like cooking or can't afford fast food. plus they're loaded with calories which is good if you're trying to build muscle.
i wouldn't buy them though..

I've heard from several sources (air force people, and navy and marine people) that the coast guard is the way to go. They drive around on boats all day.. eat the best food, and get to travel to exotic locations.. and basically don't do anything.

Yeah that's the word.
My mom was trying to get me to do that too.
Her husband is a colonel in the air force.. and he was trying to convince me to join the coast guard.. lol
If I was forced to join the military.. I would pick the coast guard.
But I wouldn't.
