Fuck Waking Lives, it just pissed me off. Fight Club was cool, so was Beastmaster (don't knock it till you try it!) but the best movie I've ever seen while trippin' was The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe, the animated one from the 80s or something.

I don't watch movies too often while tripping.
Semi related tho, I picked up a tip from a friend's hippy step dad awhile ago.
Not too many shrooms, and a book on tape in a completly darkened room.
Did this with 'Dirk Gently's Wholistic Detective Agency,' by Douglas Adams a bit ago.
All I can say is, even my first reading of this book paled in comparison to this experience.

Definitely stay away from Eraserhead why shrooming. Not a good idea. That movie is messed up while straight.
The Wall is always good choice, and I'd also have to say The Nightmare Before Christmas. Anything visual is good.

Absolutely, Baraka. It's such a chillout movie, no narration, doesn't guide you, let's you think while watching incredible imagery. All i could think about while I was watching it in theaters was, "Wow this movie would be amazing on shrooms". Also I watched American Beauty for the first and only time in theaters on shrooms, that was pretty awesome.

Personally I think that Sin City was an incredible movie to watch while shrooming. I fasted for a day then at 8:00 pm ate 4 dried grams of some cubies and after they started kickin in we sat down to watch the movie. Granted i have seen the movie many times before while sober and if you have seen it you know that it is VERY GRAPHIC.. therefore if you cannot handle your shrooms and tend to get bad trips this is not the movie for you!!! However, if you're feeling adventurous I think you will be THOROUGHLY surprised to find out just how incredible the opening sequence to that movie is, the comic book nature. The movie is mostly black and white but anything important to the plot and characters is often vividly colored drawing ur shroomie attention to it. Honestly i had to get up after the second vignette in which Marv dismembers Elisia Wood (frodo? i cant spell his name) but thats just cuz i ate 4 grams after not eating all day !! :P

I think gothic(ken russel) is very good trippy film to watch when you are shroomed.The effects in the film is a little bit horrifying but they are cool.
If there is nothing to do left,watch films when you are high.
