The store?? it's canadian i think since all price are in canadian...
I think this mushroom have no legislation at all in Canada... you can also order dry one...

hey man, havent even actually tried the amanita yet even though they are readily available at my nearest head shop..though i have a friend that has supposedly ordered some amanita resin and is just awaiting its arrival..i guess ill post back when we see whats up.
though i am kinda skeptical...
dbut whatever happens ill be sure to spread the word on this.

havent tried too... but I doubt I will find the RED one here in the woods... probably the yellow-orange one and I'm not sure if I want to try this one... but I would eat the red amanitas... especially at resin state, less possible bad feelings I guess

i would be scared to try an extract because who knows what the correct dosage is? i know enough not to ever mess with amanitas again unless i know exactly how much i'm taking in. additionally, i think the nausea you may expereience is really just your heart beating faster and a gradual acclimation to 'THE ENVIROMENT'.
the only benefit i can see is if you were to smoke it, but i don't know if that even works.

I wouldn't use resin, but I have eaten plenty of orange amanitas. It seems that making a tea out of it gives you less nausea, and just drying it with some heat (like 200 or less in the oven) also seems to help. Eating them raw can give you a very strange nauseated feeling very low in your abdomen.
I just made tea out of 1 6" Pantherina (looks just like muscaria but with a brown cap) found in northeastern USA a week ago and it didn't make me nauseated at all, just gave me a powerful feeling in my muscles and a clear lucid mental state. They say the earlier in the season you find them, the better, and that Pantherina was very early in the season.
There is a lot of disinformation out there on Amanitas, and even on erowid they have articles showing that they are not toxic to your liver. They are a power plant, and should be treated with respect nonetheless.

that's so true... since I've start my little research, I've never seen so many contradiction in the facts about this plant (plant or mushroom?? I don't undertsand the difference here I'm kinda new except for cubensis)
and from what I have read so far, it's possible to smoke the resin, it would reduces nausea and make it a bit less potent. but the taste must be horrible... i'm not sure I could... only green for me...
they say it's 15:1 resin... 1 gram is equal to 15 dry grams. I guess I would take 0.1 for the first time If I ever order this.

IF you would like to experience amanita muscaria mushrooms, I suggest you do as mentioned. Heat them in the oven for about 45 mins on the lowest setting. Grind it to a fine powder and then simmer it on the stove. I've done this a few times with absolutely no nausea. I guarantee if you eat 0.1g of the extract you wont feel anything. I've tried 7.5 and 15g doses but still feel I could up it a bit further. I also heard smoking it is very harsh...just make the tea! You'll be glad you did...

The only thing I can offer is my personal experience with this fungus, and even then not the resin.
They grow all over the place around here....well the yellow ones anyway (Amanita Muscaria var. Formosa). Anyway about three years ago I ate a huge cap (fresh, which I hear isnt too smart). After about 2 hours I became extremely nauseated, and eventually threw up. The rest of the nite was pretty much me walking around in a semi delerious state, vomiting, and trying to hear past an awful ringing in my ears.
Anyway if I were to ever try them again I would certainly dry em out first...and start with a lower amount, but still it seems to me that nutmeg is more recreational.
In any event, if you decide to do it, be sure to start small.

Using heat to dry or toast amanits is a very good idea because Ibotenic acid, which is believe to cause nausea, decarboxilates into muscimol, which is believed to cause desired effects, when heat is applied.

Well if you cant find them hunting or do not wish to hunt for them you can always buy them.
$15 to $40 an ounce from Here

In a month or so the forest floors around ehre will be littered with them (the var. Formosa though)....if you are interested in a trade I could offer you both the fruits and spore prints as well (taken outside obviously).
