Photoshop CS-Creating Spiral Text

I know how to create a spiral and put text on it using the custom shapes tool...

But can I make the spiral a custom size/can I adjust it?

I am trying to make a label for a CD, so I have to arrange the spiral so it fits on the CD.

Try Illustrator maybe...
