My friend said these are liberty caps but I decided to post them here to get a second opinion before eating them. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

* Habitat (where [woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude] and what [soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?)] does it grow on): Found in the grass a bit inways from the road next to a selected golf course in Maryland. * Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc): black with a slightly greyish tint to it * Characteristics of the stem (length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc):younger ones about 2 inches long, very skinny and thin; white stems hollow, more developed ones are 2-2 1/2 inches long, very skinny but firm and thick. (solid) * Characteristics of the cap (diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc):Younger ones less than a half inch in diameter, more developed ones about a half inch. 3 rings on the stem.. brown/gold/black * Spore print color: Unmistakeably Jet black * Color that the mushroom bruises: Seems to bruise to a darker brown, almost black looking
