Greeting folks,
*Finally* I have started to updated my MilkDrop website.
It has been a long time. Anyway there about another 800 or so new presets on the site now. Hopefully in the coming weeks I'll get all from the past year or so on there. I'll try and update this thread when I add the new stuff (another thousand or 2 to go ) or you just add the website to your favorites and check every so often.
Goto: http://www.milkdrop.co.uk
What is MilkDrop? MilkDrop is a visualization plugin from media player Winamp. More details on what visualizations are see the link to the Shroomery.org Wiki in my sig.
Enjoy,
Rovastar
(edit. Nice new website for the shroomery lovely)

Damn, some good presets in Milkdrop. Probably the best vis program available. Keep up the good work.
Oh yeah, whats the policy of using milkdrop at small festivals. I play electronic music and would love to use some visuals. And since milkdrop kicks ass, is that cool, or frowned upon???

MilkDrop license agreement says...
"MilkDrop is free to use. And was created by Nullsoft and is now released open source.
However the individual presets distributed with and additional ones found on www.milkdrop.co.uk and the MilkDrop forums remain the Intellectual property of the authors and may not be available for use in a commercial setting like TV work or public performance. Please contact the individual authors for licensing or via me. Please show your respect for the authors hard work and artistic talent by respecting this. " So... if the festival is really small, I wouldn't worry about it. If you're talking 2000+ then I would probably contact the artists or consult an attorney.

Licensing:
Generaly most of the time for small stuff me and others are cool with it. I was completely cool with any use until a few years ago someone robbed VJ gigs from me and used MilkDrop and my stuff. Not a good feeling.......anyway.
The stuff is mainly in there to stop people/companies abusing rather than using MilkDrop. If anyone wants to use stuff drop me a PM or email.
Oh I've added another quarter (April to June 04) of presets (about 300) to the downloads section. Now the running total is 4,609.
Enjoy.

Milk Drop blows EVERY Windows Media Player Visualization away.
Milkdrop is DEFINATELY Shroomery Approved.
