 Question about vicodin and taking Shrooms

howdy y'all, this is going to be my second time taking some shrooms but i have a question: I have a spinal injury which requires me to take 2-5 vicodin a day depending on the pain, can i take/have taken vicodin on the day that i take shrooms? is there any kind of reaction between the two which might be harmful?
I just ask to be safe, im very thorough when it comes to these kinds of things and i would like to ensure a safe and satisfying experience. Any help you could provide would be awesome, thanks!

It's good to be safe!  I have been on a vicodin at the time I dosed shrooms on one occasion, and didn't have any problems. I have also never heard of interaction problems. With that said, I'm not 100% sure but I think you'd be fine. Have a good time!

It would be safe to combine both of them.
If the injury is only temporary you might want to wait until it has healed though.

sadly it is a degenerative spinal condition which means it only gets worse and worse with time 
so in a way i have no choice when it comes to taking the medication, unless one day i wake up feeling masochistic
