For HST, pick up Hell's Angels. Just finished it a couple of weeks ago. Maybe check out The Rum Diary too. Both are short, easy reads. Campaign Trail is awesome too, but it's long.
Now I'm rereading A Scanner Darkly by Philip K Dick. I read it a few years ago, but there's a movie of it coming out in 2006.

Odd Thomas was great! Have you read any other Koontz books? I have read like 41 of them, or something. All pretty decent.

The Elegant Universe is by Brian Green also.
Hyperspace is by Michio Kaku, I highly suggest it.

i'm planning on reading The way I view the world, by Einstein

Vonnegut's great!
Read him a lot in high school, less frequently now, but I still like to pick up something of his occasionally

Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche
The Varieties of Religious Experience by William James
and I've got this enormous comprehensive collection of William Blake that I open up from time to time.
I really enjoy reading when I'm stoned, and since I've been abstaining, I am not motivated as much to read.

Fabric of the Cosmos - Brian Greene
The Dream Cycle - H.P. Lovecraft
Rebels and Devils: The Psychology of Liberation - Edited by Chris S. Hyatt

How do you like Fabric of the Cosmos? I heard it's kind of like a rehash of The Elegant Universe, so I don't know if I should get it or not.
Have you read TEU?

I've not read TEU so I don't know if this is true, but I've read that the Elegant Universe is more about string theory than The Fabric of the Cosmos.
How much was TEU about Newton, Mach and Einstein? and QM? What part was only about string theory?

I just read Confessions Of A Master Jewel Thief. Very good first person account of an amazing jewel thief from the 60s-70s. The statute of limitation ran out so he can write the book without going to jail.
