High All,
It is time for a new post. It is entheo garden related and I think this is the right forum to place my pictures.
Papaver Somniferum is a very easy and beautifull plant to grow. Just through the seeds in your garden in spring or fall and nature does the rest. After a few years your garden is cased with poppie seed and it will act like weed.
Many rivers to cross and a few steps to have a nice smoke.
Here we go...
All that is needed.
Yesterdays fresh harvest.
The harvest is put into some water.
The water is heated (30 minutes) "Au Bain Marie" poppie water does not boil.
I used aquariumfilter synthetic cotton (polyfill alike) to filter the O-water.
Filtered the O-water twice this way.
Placed the juice in a petries under a lamp (warm not hot).
14 hrs later it was dried and ready to scratch.
A nice result and transformation of yesterdays harvest.
And a kind of close up.

What about piX of your plants that grew so easy!
Shure is HARD for me with all the HEAT and NO soil on ground??
GREAT harvest there bro i love makin tea but i tried smokable an ahh??
TEA is much easier!!

What about the stuff left on cotton,no good?
looks like theres a lot of waste in them pod scrapins hmmmmm?
What about all the other alkaloids?
What kind of ground do you have mineral soil?
What kind of pops did ya grow to make that shit!!
What temps do you have there?
Ill try earlier next year i know 1 thing TEA is good,immpressed me!!

The stuff is not containing much as all went in the water. Ofcoarse I pushed all water out of the cotton.

looks like Hens and chicks,your lucky you can grow that easy!
My try was bad again this year got almost 12 pods most undone also..

So you can't simply collect and dry the raw opium and then smoke it? It MUST be refined? And if not, what purpose does this refining serve?

hens and chicks are in clusters of one pod surrounded by many tiny half-formed pods.
perhaps you paid for hens and chicks, but if they had single pod, they aren't what you got.
as for being "natural" yeah, i suppose cooked opium is about as natural as cocaine, considering it is refined a few steps. it will still get you horribly addicted if you overdo it

Well many pods are still waiting, about 4m2 is sprouting and I am collecting seeds to. So 2005 is not over yet! Think this post will be continued
