Cobweb Contamination

I had made up 3 bottles of popcorn which are now covered in cobweb contamination.

I looked about in the FAQ and searched to find out what casues this contamination and if the bottles can be recovered. The FAQ mentioned something about too much humidity and bad air exchange causing this but it wasn't clear if this was the only cause.

My main concern is that if this cobweb contamination can be casued by a bad spore syringe?

If cobweb is in a syringe (or anything other than spores for that matter), then yes, it will be carried into the jar.

I've gotten cobweb on corn about every time...I usually just let it fully colonize....cobweb slows it but never stops it IME...

After the cakes done I dunk it in 3% peroxide/water....then fruit as usual....

And once I had weak growth that I thought was cobweb...It ended up having rhizo's towards being fully colonized...
