Is this cobweb? (Closeup Pic)

This is my first casing. It's been in the terrium about a week, no pins yet. I've noticed over the last 2 days the surface has started to look fuzzy. It doesn't look like the kind of myc fuzz I'm used to. This has more of a matted look to it. Here's a couple close up shots to show. All the photos of cobweb I've see, it looks pretty aggressive. This stuff has looked about like this for 2-3 days. I havn't been misting for about 4 days. If it IS cobweb, is there anyway to treat? The casing layer had h2o2 in it when I mixed it, but maybe that doesn't work on cobweb? In the pics (56k beware, large pics) some of the little white dots are water from misting right before the pic was taken.

are you misting with h202/water???? that will help prevent cobweb also will kill it if indeed it is cobweb.

I havn't been misting for like 4 days (was told to stop), but when I do mist it is h2o2/h2o. So if it is cobweb, and I am able to stop it with the misting, will my fruits still be ok? Cobweb isn't toxic I'm guessing?

Well, I have pins today! They are just barely starting. Took 8 days from the time of birthing (same as my cakes took).
If it was cobweb the pins wouldn't have formed would they?

IF it Was then the pins might form but the web would soften them up. That is not cobweb, It is mycelium, it is exactly what 99.9% of noobes think is cobweb. You may never get cobweb

Ok, thank you! (wohoo!) I guess I should pay attention to signatures more often huh It must be that I'm used to seeing myc on the lighter colored BRF subrate and verm than this darker 50/50 mix.

Very good pics...I found this much more helpful than other pages.
-------------------- "When I left office, there was a substantial amount of biological and chemical material unaccounted for. That is, at the end of the first Gulf War, we knew what he had. We knew what was destroyed in all the inspection processes and that was a lot. And then we bombed with the British for four days in 1998. We might have gotten it all; we might have gotten half of it; we might have gotten none of it. But we didn't know. So I thought it was prudent for the president [BUSH] to go to the U.N. and for the U.N. to say you got to let these inspectors in, and this time if you don't cooperate the penalty could be regime change, not just continued sanctions."
