 Dehydrators VS calcium Chloride

Ive been using Calcium Chloride so far in my cultivation and its worked great. But recently ive gone bulk and i have alot of mushrooms that need to be dried
Calcium chloride takes Forever and it isnt cheap and i dont have the space to dry all of my mushies So i was wondering what alternatives there are...
Ive heard moving air and/or heat,ie Dehydrators, Are bad for the potency of mush. Now i have the reputation in my parts for having grade A potency cubs and id like to keep that rep...
so is what ive heard partly bullshit are dehydrators a life saver
if so what kind/brand should i look into, how long do they take??
help me if u can please...

Rumor on the strret is that belief is a myth dehydrators are fine set 95 or 100 done in a day.

Rig up welded mesh and suspend it above the floor, then lay your mushies out on it. Put a fan close and dry for 2 days, then finish off in the desiccant chamber. You'll get TONS more mileage out of your desiccant this way, because the fan drying removes most of the moisture. This is how I do it, and it's very effective.

i generally set my dehydrator to about 113 with no noticeable loss of potency. usually done in about 12 hours.

set anywhere from 95 to 115F is the BOSS.
I KNOW. Dry 8 pounds of these some time.
With no loss of POTENCY....at all.

I lower the AC in my house down to about 70degrees. This lowers the humidty to about 35%. I then lay out the shrooms in my room and turn the ceiling fan on high. This is almost as effective as my damp rid chamber (goes down to around 30% humidity). I just have to wear a jacket in my room.

ok I'm a complete moron on anything to do with drying or storing...but I do live in an area where doing this would be very benificial for winters...so after they are dried...can you use something like a foodsaver or vacuum packing machine to store them...if so how long will they keep and how should I store them?

if your worried about the heat from the dehydrator, you can do what my buddy dose.. he just pulled out the heating element in his dehydrator then he picks his mushies and cuts them down the middle and lays them on the racks and there dry in no time.. he dont do pounds at a time but it works..
