 First real photoshop attempt

I've played with photoshop a little bit over the years.. but never learned much or took it seriously.. just mainly used it for adding text to pics and simple stuff. This is my first real attempt to make something halfway decent.. tips...comments?
I don't even know where to begin when it comes to creating graphics

I started to learn Photoshop recently as well. While looking at this and this it suddenly struck me that I haven't been using Photoshop for anything else but putting HB's head on TV stealing junkie from Requiem for a Dream and similar OTD-esque stuff. So now I play with Photoshop at least an hour every day.
