im sure theres a thread somewhere around here along theses lines...maybe not but anyway....as far as me....i tend to lean more towards the nighttime tripping.....i live in suburbia long island new york however there are mad chill spots in the little woods we have left.....and i like trippping at night cause i always like to be otuside and i dont realy like dealing with the masses.but i love tripping in the day too dont get me wrong.......but i tend to trip out more at night. something about knowing im the only one awake is kinda cool too.. hehe granted, as long as im tripin im usualy hapy.....just wonderin all of ur thoughts on it peace all =)

this is how I trip: heavy, heroic dose with each new season (so 4x a year) - dose later in the evening so as the peak coincides with the sunrise. usually alone with a sitter in another room. darkness until the sunrise. light music on the way up, but the rest of the way silence.

Daytime..nighttime.. makes no difference to me.. as long as I'm in nature surrounded by phamily. Usually my trips start in the day and end up in the night.. or vica versa.. woah trippy.

I like both for different reasons. Outside during the day is cool, as long as its fairly nice out. I don't like to be cold while I'm tripping. Night time is also cool, because its more mysterious, and I'm a night person anyways. Plus, then I usually get to watch the sunrise, which is awesome.

better visuals at night too imo.. and not a bunch of loud obnoxious crazies everywhere.. unless you are at a festival

yeah, the dark leaves more room for your mind to do its own thing. I agree about the visuals. I also dont like to be surrounded byu a lot of people while tripping, one other person, by myself, or maybe a few CLOSE friends is cool with me. Good company is key

I used to be SO nocturnal, until I started working again full time  I've had to force myself to go to sleep at like 11, which is completely alien to me. I haven't tripped in a long time, all of this talk about it is making me want to.....
