I felt like shit for an entire week afterwards each time I've tried dxm, and the trip itself isn't too enjoyable at all.

my nightly new had a report a couple of weeks ago that said," SMOKING POT CAUSES STROKES"
they then went on to say that on guy who was thirty something had a stroke and he smoked MJ...
.and he was so young that pot must have caused the stroke.
It was so vague that after it was over, the idiot reporter even said that this was just one guy and that it was very inconclusive.
i went on for like 30 minutes to my gf about how they were just trying to scare the crap out of everyone, and they never even mentioned the guys health before the stroke, i can imagine some 350 pound dude that eats ring dings and pepsi for every meal, took a huge bong hit, gagged so hard that he ruptured something.

DXM isn't necessarily that dangerous of a drug, it can be used safely, and can even be pretty cool. The London Free Press is a fairly low class newspaper, I find this kinda funny.
...and if you don't like DXM, don't get all preachy and act like you're superior to those that do. You're not. Even though there's a good collection of idiots who love the stuff, even intelligent, cautious people enjoy it now and then.

and it was funny cause the reporter who was sitting next to the reporter giving the review just got a DUI like six months ago. beer good>pot bad.
and it's also interesting because i live in one of the most liberal filled media places, even super liberals become conservative when it comes to drugs. except beer, pills, cigs, coffee............

Your right ,Brother. ANd you know what, let them get all preachy. I don't mind some of my favorite people have used DXM. Hunter Thompson mentions using it, and Jerry Garcia has used it, to name a few people I admire who have used DXM.

One person I gave powdered DXM to (we each took around 1600 mg) had a grand mal seizure - it turned out he did have a preexisting condition, though that was the first time he had seizures.
I approve of experimentation, and DXM is definately fun and interesting to try. Still, it's a shit drug. Some people like to get trashed on alcohol, and some people like to get trashed on DXM. If you're smart, you'll avoid them both and eat mushrooms or LSD.

shit i have tried dxm once and it has changed my life... for worse... i was lost on the stuff for 2 weeks... and i had insomnia for a year afterwards... and i still get panic attacks every now and then when i feel overwhelmed by my life and think i can't handle it...
i'm not blaming the drug... i know now after a year in therapy (i have a lot more to cover) that the drug opened the door for childhood fears i had blocked away... i am still processing on all that stuff, but i think it would have been a more enjoyable process without the dxm and the fear that came with it...

DXM has its uses. I'll def. never chug that vile syrup again (gelcaps = k3y).
I do know some pretty fuckin retarded robotrippers though.
