 Question to headphone users: 2 Speakers or Headphones setting?

Its hard to tell which I like more, most of the time Ive used the 2 speaker setting because it sounded more clear/bright, as if the music was here with me. But the setting for headphones is worse with headphones, it sounds distant. Am I missing out on anything with 2 speaker mode?.
Whats funny is Ive just been using the headphone setting for the past several months thinking I was using 2 speaker setting the entire time, which turned out to be a good thing for comparison reasons.
The only pro I feel for the headphone setting is since its less "bright" it might make it easier to pay attention to all sounds, it just doesnt seem to be worth it, it sounds so artificial, its the difference between knowing your hearing something through speakers (headphone setting) vs not being able to tell the difference as if someone was talking infront of you (2 speaker setting).

I'd go with 2 speakers. I find it has the fuller sound.. Try to find your bass/treble settings and alter them yourself. If you have maybe a built in EQ then it's be even easier. The only problem I really get with 2 speaker is that usually i get treble fatique...where the treble starts to hurt your head, but I have a 7 band EQ to fix that.
