Hrmm.. that is strange. Maybe their registration has lapsed? We had lawyers file the forms and do a search for availability of the name. Or perhaps it is allowed because they are registered in a different state?
That is somewhat concerning; I hope there won't be any conflicts down the line.

I don't see why it would really matter, I just wanted to share the coincidence. There is no reason for a legal battle or such seeing how you do not compete for the same market.

very well might.. haven't though about it much yet. But it would be nice...
You guys I'm sure can imagine how awkward it is going in sales type situations and saying "shroomery" and explaning what we do hehe.. its a little odd..
by sales I mean like hosting contracts and tshirt printers and such.

there are state and federal filings but as for checking if the name is allready in existance its only by the state.
but if you are trying to steal someones market share then youre going to go to the court room for infringment...
