 Pleurotus djamor (Pink Oyster) spawn turning PINK !!!

ey!
so i have this supa-over colonised jar of pink oyster spawn on rye that
has started turning pink in some spots, like the color of the mushroom!
is this an indicator for some 'pseudo' fruitbody formation,
can i still use the jar for spawning it to toilet paper or do i have to
toss it and start all over?
sure looks kinda funky =)

Yeah, thats mushroom primordia. It should still work fine but use it soon. If the pink tissue gets too large it may encourage contamination as the lumps begin to rot after spawning the toilet paper rolls. If they are large enough to pick out, do so. If not they are probably small enough to be reabsorbed without problems.
