 guys i dont get them! help

so my ex boyfriend calls today to say that he is sorry for being an ass this past weekend about me going to Austin... he sat there and cried to me that he missed me soo much when i was gone.... Okay so here is the problem I love him i do but after this weekend i feel so different about myself that i i kind of want to be alone to regroup my view towards life and love ... but I'm afraid that if i don't stay with him now that he wont be there when and if i realize that he is the one I'm should be with... i don't know whether or not i should move on and stay on the path to discovering myself or to be with a man that sooo clearly loves me..... please help i need some advise

tell him what you're telling us, honesty in these situations is the best way to go, and if he really loves you (and judging by the tears he does) he'll understand and once the dusts clears all the pieces of the puzzle will fit.

Well, I don't know how much of a help this may be to you, but here goes. We men are pretty dense when it comes to the subtle hints and clues women give out. We have to be told pretty directly how you're feeling about a situation. I think you should tell him pretty much what you wrote here. At least something to the effect that you still care for him, but you need time to think things over. Hope you find that helpful!

Seeing as you went to Austin to clear your mind??hang out with a friend, eat mushrooms and get sexual with some guy??it's pretty clear that you're ready to dump this fool and move on. He probably suspected as much and pulled the cord before you had a chance, and now feels miserable about it, because he's in love. Poor sap.

On a brighter note. Us men are stupid. I broke up with this one girl a long while back, two weeks later I was calling crying about how stupid I was and how much I missed her. She didn't take me back, and I learned a valueable lesson along the way. I am dumb. Now I've taken measures to rectify this design flaw of mine, being stupid... not a man.
