 Are mushrooms legal in Canada?

Hello,first post here but I've been lurking a while 
What is the current state of the law regarding
possesion of
Fresh reactive mushrooms
Dried reactive mushrooms
Spore prints
Spore syringes
Mushroom Cultures
colonized Cakes
and fruiting cakes
???
Can anyone help me out?
I know a bill was under review (C-7) and it later had it's name changed but I kind of lost track of it.
Are mushrooms legal here or what?!?

Canada
Both Psilocybin and Psilocin are schedule III in Canada. (Note: Canadian schedules are very different than U.S. schedules). See Psychoactive-Related Laws for Canada

Psilocybin and psilocin are schedule 3. I'm pretty sure spore prints are legal in Canada, as they do not contain psilocybin or psilocin, but as soon as the organism starts developing those illegal chemicals, it'd be illegal, which includes cakes with mycelium growing on them. According to the law fresh and dried mushrooms would be illegal, as they contain the illegal chemicals, but the mushrooms themselves are not, only the psychoactive chemicals.

That blows
this seems rather harsh don't you think?
(6) Every person who contravenes subsection (1) where the subject-matter of the offence is a substance included in Schedule III(Shrooms)
(a) is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years; or
(b) is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction and liable
(i) for a first offence, to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to both, and
(ii) for a subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, or to both.
I may have to rethink my little hobby

Or you may have to rethink getting caught. Tell no one what you plan to do, keep it hidden, and keep the fruit only to yourself. I'd rethink my hobby much quicker in the US than in Canada.

dont let the government push you around, espicially if its something stupid like illegal mushrooms. You canadians seem a little contradictory (not that america isnt), because isnt pot just about legal there?

Pot is not even close to being legal here...the laws just aren't enforced very strictly. From what I can gather, they are basically ignoring the users and focusing more on the grow-ops. Which is almost as futile, since it seems like everyone and their dog has a grow op here.
