yeah a complete moron that obviously knows what hes doing, these psilocybin containing mushroms are just fine! And maybe you should read the whole thread before talking shit! When you take a sporeprint, identify a mushrooms common characteristics to its genus, AND it bruises blue, you PROBABLY have a psilocybin active mushroom! Not to mention YES THERE ARE NON-ACTIVE EVEN POISONOUS CONTAINING MUSHROOMS THAT BRUISE BLUE, THERE ARE ALSO DIFFERENT TYPES OF BLUE BRUISING. cyanescen gymnoporus BRUISES BLUE, its an edible non-acticve mushroom.....sorry what I said was generally referring to the current situation and where I live! psilocin (not PSILOCYBIN) containing mushrooms cause this reaction, yes there exceptions but im not gonna go into, ignorant fools like yourself with your, one liners make my fingers hurt typing all this

Maybe I should have said "nothing bruises like a psilocybe.....in most cases", just for you.

    #3487546 - 12/12/04 05:45 PM (7 years, 5 months ago)

okay here they are im posting pics of the crazy shrooms I found by my house....(notice the beautiful display of bruising!)

I used my scanner, I know I dhould have done it sooner, it just dawned on me that I could directly scan my finds onto my computer!

fresh...

leaf mycelium that a mushroom was growing directly from..

purple brown sporeprint and blue stained center!

some wet and dry ones in size comparison to a guitar pic!

compare to some semi-fresh cyanescens I picked yesterday...

You're right.

They appear to be Psilocybe cyanofibrillosa.

Nice find.

Any more information on the habitat they were growing in?

Potency:

at least that of cyanescens, they have been eaten fresh and dry and there doesnt seem to be much of a difference if any. A friend of mine who trips once or twice week(no joke), ate a single nickle sized cap, about a centemieter thick went too work and felt effects even when he got off of work and met up with us, another mutual friend ate three quarter sized caps dry and said he hadnt shroomed that hard in a LOOONG time. I ate one as soon as I discovered the patch and ran them through the actives check off sheet and only expecte da mild body high. I actually got quite the headchange from just one tiny tester mushroom!

Habitat: mulch, bark, dirt, and autumn leaves, under a littlle bush with a small valley under it. There where over 50 mushrooms and most where rotting and had a variety of stages of decompostion. Some turned a puke moss green. It looked like a first flush because some caps where 2 and half to 3 inches across!!

Im watching them like a hawk and hoping they fluorish again. but it doesnt look likely becaue its been about a week since I noticed them, and it has rained and I dont see any new pins.
By the way I noticed a few new ones popping up when I move leaves around. I can tell they are new by the stem but the caps are soft mushy and rotting away. They are also not growing as healthy as the elder ones did at once in the patch. Could this because they popped up during a rare weather condition that was perfect for them. And now that we dont have that cold streak they are having a hard time and jsut dying out. Or could it be the asshole landscapers are piling too many leaves and causing TOO much moisture?
