what makes you think that? why ban mhrb when dmt is such an obscure drug. I've never met anyone irl who has even heard of it, let alone tried it.
Phishgrrl - The extraction really isn't that difficult. Anyone with the patience and determination to do it right, can get some quality results...and it is DEFINITELY worth the effort.
Slipknot420 - excellent book. After my first breakthrough, I immediately bought the book. The chapters on the pineal gland are quite fascinating.

I have it, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I'm still working on Terrence McKenna's "Invisible Landscapes."

I have heard this is a kickass book, but haven't read it yet for some reason. I listened to the interview of Dr. Strassman right around the time the book came out, and even THAT was amazing. Enjoy.
SS7, enjoy your book as well.

It's a neat book because he catalogues the elemental DMT experiences, and this kind of thing is pretty cool. It's not terribly deep, though. The author seems incapable of integrating what he learned with.. anything, which is always frustrating. Another annoying thing is he makes some bold claims, such as "DMT is released when you die" but doesn't back it up with any mention of a study or how one would study such a thing. A lot of the DMT "facts" that people spout about DMT being there when you are born and 44 (or whatever) days after conception seem to come from this book, but he doesn't care to go into detail and so I wonder if that's all bullshit he's made up.
I'd like to read The Antipodes of the Mind: Phenomenology of the Ayahuasca Experience by Benny Shannon. Actually you just reminded me I got to go order that one in. I have high hopes for it as I've heard it is much more extensive than Strassman's stuff.
