Somone school me to the ways of this man. Which albums do you like and why? I'm just getting into him more and more lately and I'd like to hear others opinions...
-------------------- The only thing that burns in Hell is the part of you that won't let go of life, your memories, your attachments. They burn them all away. But they're not punishing you, they're freeing your soul. So, if you're frightened of dying and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away, but if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the earth...

Hmm to get started id get Joes Garage and the greatest hits.
Then I dont know something about the peace core is another good one. I never owned it but have heard it.
Then there is Hot rats wich is mostly instromental except for the song willie the pimp.
Then I got Uncle meat wich is kinda a soundtrack for the last movie wich he was working on that never was finished.
Check the DVD baby snakes.
Check out the mothers of invention. Those were the musicians behind Franks zappas dictatorship.
Thats all I know.
But there is like another 20 albums I have yet to hear.

I have all of his albums, and although some are kinda crappy, I really enjoy most. I especially like Bongo Fury with Beefheart.

Some his best stuff is live, check out the You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore CD's, there's like 7 volumes of them.
Joe's Garage is great, Sheik Yerbouti, etc... Also the old Mothers of Invention stuff is neat too, if not quite as tight.
I just downloaded 200 Motels, the movie with Ringo in it... I haven't watched it yet.
