I smoke both 
But would like to quit cigs.
Which is kinda hard because everyone here smokes hash mixed with tobacco.
I realize this is only an excuse though.
In January all smoking inside public closed areas will be forbidden and i think i'll take that chance to quit for good...hopefully...

I can stop smoking cigarettes when I have weed...the problem is when I am not able to smoke weed (IE: in public, while waiting for a phone call for a job interview...as I'm doing right now).

I quit smoking cigs a year ago with the help of weed. Whenever I had a really bad craving, I'd smoke a bowl of commercial pot. Why commercial? Cuz it would give me a little buzz and I could smoke more for less money. It satisfied my craving for smoke. Next came cutting back on weed, which has been pretty successful. I'm down to 1/8 a week of quality bud. Right now I'm not smoking anything because of a job, and I have to say it is kinda refreshing. It feels good to stop for a while, mainly because I know the next time I do smoke, it'll be fantastic. I don't miss the cigs a damn bit, in fact now they repulse me, and I love the extra cash, but I feel Mary calling me. Can't wait to pack a bowl of quality nugs!!

I find ciggarettes pointless. No high , and ur killing your lungs , i personally , cigarretes were never here , i wish weed was legal instead of tabbaco , im a weed smoker  , Weed all the way

I used to smoke cigs a long time ago. Pointless and smelly.
I used to get high a long time ago..it gave me migraines so I quit.

100% weed smoker, here. i dont like smoking chemicals, sorry. and i find it a bit amusing that most smokers i know tell me they hate it too, but just gotta have em  they admit they smell and taste like shit, but yet smoke them dirt sticks down anyways!!!! fun fun

There's plenty of chemicals in pot too, buddy. Long term pot use can cause lung cancer as well. Dumping any kind of ash into your lungs is bad for you.

I'm just a smart ass in general, and yes I'm aware of chemicals added to tobacco. Did you know that if commerical ferts are used on pot they could contain the same radioactive chemicals that tobacco does?

yes there are chemicals in herbsmoke. and you are right, smoking anything is bad for you. but in comparison to comercial tobacco cigarettes, marijuana is a much heathier alternitive. commercial cigarettes contain 600+ chemicals which are added to the plant material. unless you're smoking swhagg (shwagg contain a lot of ammonia and pestacides, not to mention all of the mold that grows on it...it contains fertalizers to. things like nitrogen. shwagg should never be smoked), cannabis chemicals aren't that dangerous...the only real thing to worry about in cannabis are the fertalizers and nutrients given to the plant during growth....but with a proper flushing or leaching, most ,if not all, are removed...leaving only the cannabinoids left in the plant material. but cannabis flowers are highly resinous, which isn't good for your lungs...but it is a lot better than the resin of a cigarette. all smoke is bad for you and all smoke can cause lung disease but cigarettes contain several well known carinogens and the risk for cancer is significantly higher than that of an occasional marijuana smoker. most heath conscious herb users don't smoke, they use vaporisers...which is about the heathiest way to burn.

well you have to consider that it's all about money. none of these corparations really care about their consumer's heath. hell, the only reason cannabis was illegalized to begin with was because it was threatening the alchohol, tobacco and coffee companies buisness...not because it was something dangerous to the public. it's a corrupt world we live in....and unfortunately we have no power to change it. just look at the cold hard facts....alchohol and tobacco kill thousands everyday, while cannabis has yet to kill one.

Yeah... I wonder how cigs would taste without all that shit added? Hrm. One of these days I'll actually get around to growing my tobacco out to full maturity and trying it out for my self. I've grown/smoked rustica, but thats a different ball game.

i've thought of doing this same thing, one day for sure man. another thing i want to do is mix a lil of it in with my nuggs and see what this cousin of a friend was talking about when he said they mix tobacco in with their weed over in Switzerland. he was a good guy, then shortly after he got back from his visit to the states, marijuana was legalized there. the swiss own. especially for staying neutral.
hahah, he also dissed our weed left and right, saying it sucked ass(which it did back in the day when he visited, it was some god schwilla for sure, but i was like 14 )

I don't know about the Swiss, but the Germans I hung around with smoked mostly hash. The would use tobacco as filler and crumble the hash into it to roll a spliff. I don't remember them ever having actual buds, aways hash. My friends in the Army would get weed sometimes and bring it back from Holland but it was much riskier than bringing back hash. Hash is just so much easier to hide.

Yeah, pretty much everywhere other than the US likes to mix tobacco in with their hash/pot. Americans do it to, to an extent: smoking blunts.
I used to live in Switzerland, I'd say it's probably my favorite place in the world. Interlaken, Switzerland is the best place ever.

there is a brand of rolling tobacco out there known as American Spirit, their tobacco is 100% additive free. it's great but somewhat expensive....you would think all natural tobacco would be cheaper but unfortunately this isn't the case. even the color of the tobacco has a cleaner look to it....it has a light orangish color to it....while commercial tobacco takes on a darkish brown tint. the taste is great. but the only problem is that it dries out and looses it's moisture shortly after opening. though this isn't a concern for a serious tobacco conesouer (most have humidifying buttons or boxes which they use), it tends to be a bit agravating to an average smoker.
the swiss know what's up. i can't speak for the rest of america but i love mixing in a bit of tobacco with my ganja cigarettes. i find it helps the herb burn a little slower and longer. it also helps with heavily resinous herb that wouldn't burn well, solo, rolled. i never like to add a lot of tobacco to my joints, usually just about a 1/5-1/4. around here we call the tobacco/cannabis mix joints scoobies.
