 I thought I found heaven..!

Well, maybe a rotting pile of bark chips falls a tad short of paradise...but after 3 hours of scouring the jetty for azures and a bit more coastal area, I found this. A fairly large pile of chips which is about 15x30 feet and you can see how tall it is.
I was only excited, because I stopped looking for cyans 4 days ago, and this was the first bark i found outside of city limits. Well, no luck...I don't know what kind of mushrooms were on it..4-7 kinds, but im fairly sure no actives. This isn't an ID post, so the 2 pics of mushrooms are just for looks, unless im crazyily wrong and u notice an active, but i doubt it.

last ones look like russulas possibly.
consider making some cyan or azure spawn over winter to inoculate the pile with in spring if those are hardwood.

ya i was thinking buot that..but im cynical and skeptic, my luck some excavating company would move it all right before harvest lol...not that I 'condone' stealing, but I might..confiscate ssome of it during the nite in the future to use in the yard. its a trash area i think..i found rubber tires/metal scrap/other junk behind it..so it should stay there for a while.
I only thought of heaven because I was so desperate to find cyans and such a large barked area filled with hints of caramel shrooms made me think maybe ill get a break this time and find..3. =P, ~D

Looks like a good place to pick stuff to me, as for the mushrooms there... hard to tell lots of possibilities. I get excited when I find large patches of any mushroom. I would research the ones that you have found there, even though if arent what you are looking for it's good practice.

i find those mushrooms in your pics growing along side Ps. Stuntzii and Ps. Beao... all the time. It wouldnt hurt to look there again some time.
