so i started using netflix.com to get movies, and i need some recomendations as to what to get first... so if i dont like it, then i can cancle early, ya know?

what do you mean if you don't like it?
if you don't like the movie, you don't cancel your membership,
you just don't rent it again...
their service is tops.
if you don't like a movie you rent at blockbuster, do you cancel
your membership?

no, i'm saying if i dont like netflix, the # of movies i get per month vs cost.
i just got a dvd burner

if you got a burner...then you won't need a netflix acct for very
long, now will you?
I'm on my second DVD book right now.
but, seriously, even in off months when you don't watch a lot
of films, it still beats having to go to the store, renting and
dealing with late charges.
Netflix is one of those rare-gems of internet business.

I use netflix to get copies of tv show stuff you cant get at blockbuster and stuff.
They are kind of bastards and thier service isnt unlimited. They start limiting your rentals when u send back 3 as soon as you get em.

me and my roomates have a netflix operation going too. We get 8 at a time and burn em all in one day. Its a pretty sweet deal. DVD burners are key

I've got over 200 dvds now. Netflix is starting to get slow though. Sometimes it takes nearly a week to get my next movie. When I first started, they were great, but they're starting to piss me off now. There really aren't too many movies left that I want to get, so I'll probably quit soon.

Your story is typical, service for me was great at start then it tapered off. Im a power renter is why.
I went on vacation/moved a while back and wasnt able to send em back as fast and my my rentals starting getting checked in faster again. It seams they purposly delay you when you sendhing stuff back to them.

Woah I've had a DVD Burner for years, can you really burn dvds from Netflix with them? I always heard rumors about copy protection stuff so I never bothered to check.

i just usualy rent my movies from blockbuster or the other video store (both across the street), it adds up to about ~$7 per movie (after rental, and copying movie, those blank DVD's arnt cheap, about ~$2/disc)

if yer paying 2 bucks a disk yer buying from the wrong people.
I get 100 spindles for like 27 from meritline.com. Prodiscs are awesome.

i just got a moviepass from blockbuster for 19.99 a month unlimited rentals/no late fees. i can check out as many movies as i can burn in a day no waiting for the mail

yeah seriously. copy protection hahaha
clone dvd + anydvd is the best ive found. A lot of time ill rip all three net flix too dvd files with clone dvd and send em out and burn em later or whatever.... if im stressed for time.
