When you say "evidence based upon authority and/or testimony is always inadequate for any paranormal claim" you're refereeing to some "ad verecundiam" or maybe an appeal to authority fallacy, which is correct.
But how can you prove "extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence," is not an anecdotal evidence itself ? ;
